Terms of Service

Using the Simplicity Field workspace.

These terms govern use of Simplicity Field, operated by Simplicity Construction Group. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the workspace. Questions can be sent to edcalvario@simplicityconstructiongroup.com.

Authorized business use

Simplicity Field supports construction field documentation and project coordination. Access is limited to users authorized by the workspace owner. Signing in with Google or creating an authentication account does not itself grant access to company projects.

Use your own authorized account, protect your credentials and devices, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not share an account, bypass permissions, interfere with the service, or upload unlawful, malicious, or unrelated sensitive material.

Your project content

You must have the right to upload and share the records, photos, drawings, and personal information you enter. You retain your rights in that content, subject to your separate employment, client, or project agreements. You permit Simplicity Construction Group and its service providers to store, copy, transmit, and display it as needed to operate the service and provide authorized project access.

Workspace access does not alter ownership established by a separate contract. The owner manages membership and project access. The Privacy Policy explains account information, providers, local storage, and deletion requests.

Check measurements and decisions

Notes, dimensions, sketches, schedules, and templates are working aids. Sketches may not be to scale. Verify measurements, quantities, site conditions, code requirements, and safety decisions independently before ordering materials or carrying out work. The app does not replace approved plans, inspections, professional judgment, or required permits.

Entries in this workspace do not by themselves approve prices, contract changes, payments, or a binding construction agreement. Use the applicable separate approval and contracting process.

Offline work and backups

Some information can be stored on a device and synchronized later. Offline availability depends on prior downloads, browser storage, authentication, and the deployed version. Pending changes are not backed up to the server until synchronization succeeds. Review sync messages and conflicts, and keep appropriate exports of important records.

Device loss, cleared browser storage, authentication changes, or software failures may prevent access to unsynchronized work. Project deletion and the restoration window do not guarantee immediate permanent erasure of every copy.

Service changes and access removal

We may maintain, update, or temporarily interrupt the service and may restrict access for security, misuse, or changes in team authorization. Where practical, we will give notice of material changes affecting normal use. Contact the workspace owner if you need an authorized export before access ends.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free records, or suitability for every project. To the extent allowed by applicable law, implied warranties are excluded. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms do not modify a separate construction, employment, subcontractor, or client agreement. No subscription charge or purchase obligation is created by these terms alone.

Third-party services

Login and hosting depend on third-party providers. Your direct use of Google, Clerk, Cloudflare, or ChatGPT may also be governed by their terms. We do not control their availability or every aspect of their operation.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with an updated effective date. Material changes will be brought to affected users' attention through the workspace or an appropriate contact channel.
